Photo Friday!!!

I do not believe in reincarnation. You could maybe talk me into believing in half reincarnation. You see, if all dogs go to heaven then all insects go to heaven and how could there be a heaven big enough for the billions and trillions of ants, worms, spiders, and roaches that have ever been on the earth? So, insects I could see the need to reincarnate them (especially since we kill them every chance we get) but humans, no way.

That is, until my neice was born. For her entire 19 months of existence, I have sworn that she is a spitting immage of my grandma:

GENIEL OLIVE HALE GROVER FARNSWORTH.

My grandma had a suit just like the one Rachel is wearing in that photo. However, I couldn't find a photo with grandma in it. You might not see the resemblance here but truly they even have the same mannerisms. {Which is weird because they don't even share blood, my mom was adopted...} It is only fitting that the two people that I love most in the world are exactly alike!

I love to travel.
I love to see things and be places that I have only ever seen on tv, in my imagination, or in a book.
{In fact, I took a job I disliked for 9 months just so that I could get flight benefits.}

I think I acquired my love for travel on my first trip somewhere far; Alaska. When I was in jr. high, my grandma took me on an Alaskan cruise with her. That wasn't the first time I had been on a plane but the first trip I had taken that wasn't to Disneyland. {don't get me wrong I would go to Disneyland every month [except July because it is dang hot] if i could}.

Since I love traveling so much, I took it upon myself to go everywhere and see everything. There are many places that I have yet to visit. However, there is a handful of places I have been.

{this post is juts to tell where I've been, not really why, when, or how...}

Best Deal EVER!!!!

Since November, I have been standing on the street corner every day holding up a sign that says "I will work for free". Ok, not literally but I felt like I was because I was working at an internship and I received 6 credit hours at asu, got great training, made great friends, fell in love (with the non-profit world, not a man...), but never got a single pay check. I wasn't bitter about it, it was just hard, 5 months without any income (need I say, I have more debt than I did 5 months ago...).

When I saw a letter from my new job on the counter, I had no idea what to expect. But when I opened it, to my surprise, there was a CHECK!!! Yes I knew this was a job and I would be getting paid, but I had gotten so used to working and not getting paid, that I forgot the thrill of actually getting one.

So, my Saturday steal was a steal indeed! A paycheck. I got paid for something that I had been doing the last 5 months for free!!! YAY payroll!
